House - Review
For the seven people in the house, there were only three rules:
House Rules:
1. God came to my house and I killed him.
2. I will kill anyone who comes into my house as I killed God.
3. Give me one dead body, and I might let rule two slide.
You have until dawn.
The stakes of the game become clear when a tin can is tossed into the house with rules scrawled on it. Rules that only a madman—or worse—could have written. Rules that make no sense yet must be followed.
One game. Seven players. Three rules. Game ends at dawn.
My Review:
Definitely an "on the edge" type of novel. It always kept me guessing as to what would happen and made me want more. As a fan of thriller/suspense, I wanted there to be more. I was hungry for more. Following Jack and Stephanie Singleton on their way to a counseling session, they end up lost on a deserted road where they run over spikes. Luckily, they were near a house that was being run as an inn. There they meet another dating couple, Randy and Leslie.Things took a sour turn when the lights went off and they became trapped in the house by a man who was wearing a mask.
This is definitely a book for those who love thrillers and page turners!
